Camp Kesem is a nationwide non-profit organization that operates free summer camps for children ages 6-18 who have been impacted by a parent's cancer. As the Alumni Public Relations (AMP) committee lead for UC Irvine’s Camp Kesem chapter, I had the opportunity to take on the fun challenge of designing Camp Kesem at UC Irvine’s executive board head shots. Prior to the start of the weeklong summer camp, counselors choose a camp name which best reflects their persona. Using PicsArt’s illustration tools and Fotograf to retouch Miguel Del Mundo’s portrait photography, I hand drew each design and uniquely personalized each counselor’s head shot, bringing their camp names to life.
The Jewel Princess
Working as the social media assistant for the Jewel Princess—a high-end custom jewelry studio in Orange County committed to traditional craft—with an eye towards modern design and materials, I gained hands-on experience with jewelry product photography through weekly social media content creation including Instagram posts, stories, and highlights. Through my experience, I also sharpened my eye for detail in an environment that demanded creativity and perfection in all of the content I produced.
Art & Be
When I’m not creating professional content, I’m usually working on my own personal projects that feature my photography and digital art to keep my creativity flowing. These are an assortment of personal works that blend some of my main sources of inspiration: my favorite cities, artists, and pop culture.
