Camp Kesem is a nationwide non-profit organization that operates free summer camps for children ages 6-18 who have been impacted by a parent's cancer. As the Alumni Public Relations (AMP) committee lead for UC Irvine’s Camp Kesem chapter, I had the opportunity to take on a fun and challenging collaboration with Miguel Del Mundo and edit all of the executive board head shots. Prior to the start of the weeklong camp, counselors choose a camp name which best reflects their persona. Using PicsArt’s illustration tools and Fotograf to retouch Del Mundo’s portrait photography, I hand drew each design and uniquely personalized each counselor’s head shot, bringing their camp names to life.
The Jewel Princess
Working as the social media assistant for the Jewel Princess, a high-end custom jewelry studio in Orange County, I gained hands-on experience with jewelry product photography through weekly social media content creation including Instagram posts, stories, and highlights. Through my experience, I also sharpened my eye for detail in an environment that demanded creativity and perfection in all of the content I produced.
